Boundless Mind
Boundless Mind
Oil Painting on Canvas and Edited with Premiere Pro
91x72.5 cm
Interacting with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, I realized that despite the differences, people generally think in the same way. The girl looking into a fish tank is me, exploring the fish tank which symbolizes my mind. From the audience’s perspective, I am observing them. While the audience exists outside the canvas, the perspective creates an illusion that they are looking into my unbiased gaze from inside the fishbowl, becoming part of my view and my mind. At that moment, my audience, regardless of gender, age, and appearance, dissolves into what they think I am thinking in that painting, almost as if we are sharing one mind.
