Motion in Stillness
Motion in Stillness
Oil Painting on Canvas
61x77 cm
As a child, I thought everything had feelings; I would talk to objects as if they could understand me. Inspired by my childhood memories, I imagined the souls of man-made, static objects. The items on the table are all everyday objects that were part of my surroundings. The abstract lines bursting from each object represent the imagined motions they might make if they could come to life.
