Wire, Yarn, Acrylic Paint, Styrofoam Ball, Clay, and  Plaster Bandage

This work is inspired by my experience performing with North Korean dancers at a North and South Korea unification charity event. The roots holding balls of various materials represent our shared origin though we are currently divided into two countries. I used strong lighting in this work to make a single, noticeably dark shadow to emphasize a sense of unification.
